# Pressed Love (pressedlove.com) vs Minted

Minted is a premium printed stationery house built on a marketplace of independent artists, and it also runs free online invitations and free wedding websites. Pressed Love (pressedlove.com) is a digital-only wedding invitation sold once for a fixed price. If you want beautiful paper in your guests' hands, Minted wins and this page will say so plainly. If your guests are spread across countries and messaging apps, and you want the cost known before you start, that is the case for Pressed Love. Minted facts last checked 16 August 2026 against Minted's own pages; verify current pricing on minted.com.

## TL;DR

- **Different products, not different tiers.** Minted's core business is printed stationery. Pressed Love prints nothing.
- **Where Minted wins outright:** physical paper — letterpress, foil-pressed, cotton stock, wax seals — plus a much bigger designer catalogue, and a genuinely free digital tier.
- **Cost shape:** Minted's printed suites are quoted at roughly $5–$14 per set at 100, before postage; Pressed Love is a one-time €49–€575 that does not move with guest count.
- **Where Pressed Love digital invitations win:** 29 languages auto-selected per guest, per-guest WhatsApp/SMS delivery with attributed RSVPs, a seating chart synced to replies, and an animated format paper cannot do.

## What Minted is genuinely best at

Minted's reputation is earned on paper. Its designs come from a marketplace of independent artists, chosen through public design challenges, and the printing options are the real thing: letterpress on white cotton stock, foil-pressed lettering, embossing and blind debossing, die-cut and arched shapes, wax seals, vellum jackets, belly bands and lined envelopes. Nothing on a screen replaces an invitation someone can hold, pin to a fridge and keep in a box for thirty years.

Minted also does more than print. Its wedding websites are free — Minted's own FAQ calls them "completely free", with a custom URL as a $15 one-time upgrade that renews at $15 a year — and they handle guest lists, RSVPs across multiple events, password protection and RSVP questions such as meal choices. Its online invitations are free too, and by Minted's own product description you share them "via text or email to start collecting RSVPs", with registry links attached. Anyone telling you Minted is paper-only has not read Minted's site.

## The cost question: per card versus paid once

If you go the printed route, the cost scales with your guest list, and the add-ons are where it climbs. From Minted's own cost guide, at a quantity of 100: a simpler die-cut suite is quoted around **$5 per set**, a fuller suite with insert card, pre-addressed envelope, ribbon, wax seal and vellum jacket around **$7–$8 per set**, and a letterpress suite around **$13.50 per set**. That is roughly $500, $750 and $1,350 for 100 guests. Premium paper adds $1.75 per card, envelope liners $1–$2, embellishments $0.50–$2.00 per invitation, foil-pressed lettering a $75 add-on, and custom design services start from a $300 design fee. Postage is on top. Minted says its couples spend **$480 on average** on wedding invitations.

Two caveats we would rather state than bury. Minted's guide presents those as 2024 averages, so they are dated; and Minted discounts heavily and often, with promo codes and a paid membership that adds savings and free shipping, so the list price is rarely the price paid. Check minted.com for today's numbers.

Pressed Love is a single one-time payment: **€49** Starter (published invitation, no RSVP), **€175** Essential (the wedding default, with RSVP and guest management) or **€575** Premium (planner, seating chart, custom music). Nothing renews, nothing is charged per guest, and adding forty guests in month three changes the total by zero. See the [full pricing page](https://pressedlove.com/ru/pricing).

## Multilingual guests and WhatsApp delivery

Every published Pressed Love invitation renders in **29 languages**, chosen automatically from each guest's device language. For an Albanian-Italian wedding, or a couple in Berlin with family in Spain, that is one invitation rather than three versions of a PDF. Minted's product pages, wedding-website help centre and stationery guidance are English-language and USD-priced, and we found no documented guest-facing language switching — if that decides it for you, ask Minted directly rather than taking our word for it.

Delivery differs in shape too. Minted's online invitations are shared by text or email. Pressed Love gives each guest their _own_ link, sent from the dashboard by WhatsApp, SMS or email with the message pre-written: the guest opens it, sees their name, and RSVPs without an account — and the reply is attributed to that guest automatically, so there is no matching up "we're coming!" replies against a spreadsheet. In much of Europe, Latin America and the Balkans, WhatsApp is simply where invitations are read.

## What a screen can do that paper cannot

This is the honest other side of the paper argument. A Pressed Love invitation opens with an animated envelope reveal, holds an interactive map, music and a schedule, and can be corrected after sending — if the venue time moves, you edit it once and every guest sees the new time, which is impossible once 120 cards are in the post. RSVPs land live in a dashboard, feed a drag-and-drop [seating chart](https://pressedlove.com/ru/seating-chart) that updates as replies arrive, and a gift fund and QR sharing come with it. Browse the [17 templates](https://pressedlove.com/ru/templates) — all of them are available on every plan, and designing and previewing is free.

## When Minted is the better choice

1. **You want paper, full stop.** If a physical invitation matters to you or to your families, Minted is the better product and Pressed Love does not compete — it does not print anything, and it never will as part of this plan.
2. **You want letterpress, foil-pressed or embossed finishes.** These are craft printing decisions with no digital equivalent. A screen cannot be deboss-textured.
3. **You want the biggest possible design choice.** Minted's artist marketplace is far larger than 17 curated templates. If a specific Minted design is the one, it is not available anywhere else.
4. **Your budget for the invitation is zero.** Minted's free online invitations and free wedding website are genuinely free. Pressed Love has no free publishing tier — you design and preview free, then pay to publish.
5. **You are a US couple who wants one US vendor.** Minted is USD-priced, US-centric and pairs a printed suite with a matching website. Pressed Love prices in EUR, which is mildly annoying if you bank in dollars.

## Using both

Plenty of couples do not have to choose. Order a smaller run of printed Minted suites for the people who will keep them, and send the Pressed Love digital invitation to everyone else — especially guests abroad, where postage is slow, expensive and occasionally lost. The Pressed Love invitation generates its own QR code, so it can be printed on a Minted card or a welcome sign and scanned straight through to the details and the RSVP form.

## How to try Pressed Love before deciding

1. Open [/create](https://pressedlove.com/ru/create) — designing and previewing cost nothing and need no card
2. Pick one of the [17 templates](https://pressedlove.com/ru/templates) and paste in your real wedding details
3. Send yourself the preview link and open it on a phone, in another language
4. Import your guest list; each guest gets their own link
5. Publish only if you prefer it (Starter €49 / Essential €175 / Premium €575)
6. Order the printed suite from Minted separately if you want paper as well

## FAQs

### Is Pressed Love cheaper than Minted?

For printed invitations, almost always yes — but that is not a fair fight, because you are comparing a digital product to physical cards. Minted's own cost guide says its couples spend an average of $480 on wedding invitations, with full printed suites quoted at roughly $5 to $14 per set at a quantity of 100, before postage. Pressed Love (pressedlove.com) is a one-time €49 (Starter), €175 (Essential) or €575 (Premium) with lifetime access, and the price does not move with guest count. The honest caveat: Minted's digital side — free online invitations and a free wedding website with RSVP — costs nothing at all, so if free is the requirement, Minted wins that comparison outright.

### Does Minted offer digital invitations, or only printed ones?

Both. Minted is best known as a premium printed stationery house, but it also publishes free online invitations that you customise and, in its own words, "share the invitation via text or email to start collecting RSVPs", and free wedding websites that collect RSVPs across multiple events, support guest lists, password protection and questions like meal choices. Minted's wedding website FAQ describes the websites as completely free, with a custom URL as a $15 one-time upgrade that renews at $15 per year. So Minted is not a print-only company, and this page does not claim otherwise.

### What does Minted actually cost for 100 printed wedding invitations?

Using Minted's own published examples at a quantity of 100: a simpler die-cut suite is quoted around $5 per set, a fuller suite with insert card, pre-addressed envelope, ribbon, wax seal and vellum jacket around $7 to $8 per set, and a letterpress suite around $13.50 per set — roughly $500, $750 and $1,350 respectively. Add-ons stack on top: premium paper at $1.75 per card, envelope liners at $1 to $2, embellishments at $0.50 to $2.00 per invitation, foil-pressed lettering as a $75 add-on, and custom design services from a $300 design fee. Postage is separate and unavoidable. Minted runs frequent promotions and a paid membership with additional savings, so treat these as the shape of the cost, not a quote — check minted.com for today's price.

### Which handles international and multilingual guests better?

Pressed Love (pressedlove.com), for the invitation itself. Every published Pressed Love invitation renders in 29 languages and picks the language from each guest's device automatically, so a guest in Tirana and a guest in Stuttgart read the same invitation in their own language without you sending two versions. Minted's product pages, wedding-website help centre and stationery guidance are English-language and priced in USD, and we found no documented guest-facing language switching — verify with Minted directly if this decides it for you. Pressed Love's own weak spot here is the mirror image: EUR pricing is mildly annoying if you bank in dollars.

### When is Minted the better choice?

Whenever paper is the point. If you want a physical invitation in your guests' hands — letterpress, foil-pressed, heavyweight cotton stock, wax seals, vellum jackets, envelope liners — Minted does that properly and Pressed Love does not compete, because Pressed Love prints nothing at all. Minted is also the better choice if you want a large designer marketplace of independent artists rather than a small curated set, if you want a matching printed suite and wedding website from one vendor, if you want a US-centric, USD-priced service, or if your budget requirement is genuinely zero, since Minted's online invitations and wedding website are free.

### Can I use Minted and Pressed Love together?

Yes, and for a lot of couples that is the sensible answer rather than a compromise. A common split: order the printed suite from Minted for parents, grandparents and anyone who wants something to keep, and send the Pressed Love (pressedlove.com) digital invitation by WhatsApp, SMS or email to everyone else — including guests abroad, where posting paper is slow and expensive. The Pressed Love invitation carries its own QR code, so it can also be printed on a Minted card or welcome sign to take guests straight to the details and the RSVP form.
