Then your names and every detail of the day follow on the same page. It is a live invitation rather than a video file, so it sends as a link, it can collect RSVPs, and you can still change it after it has gone out. No app to install, nothing to download. It opens in the browser. ## What actually moves, and when Every animated design is built from the same few moving parts. Each one has a single job, starts with the guest’s tap, and then gets out of the way so the details can be read. - ### The opening The invitation starts closed. When the guest taps, a classic design breaks the wax seal on its envelope; the motion designs have openings of their own: a velvet curtain, a silk bow, a paper palace lifting, pearl curtains parting. Guests in a hurry can skip it. - ### The scene In the 3 scenic designs the picture itself moves after the opening: a lake terrace comes to life in Varenna, a manor turns from day to night in Villa at Dusk. The clip plays once and holds its last frame, as several classic designs do, Teatro among them. A design’s own scene never loops behind your names. - ### Your words stay words Names, date and venue are live text set over the artwork, not pixels inside a video. That is why you can fix a typo after sending, why guests can zoom in, and why, on Essential, each guest can read the invitation in their own language. - ### Music on the tap Browsers keep a page silent until someone touches it, so the music starts with the guest’s tap on the opening, never before, and a small button lets anyone mute it. Songs from our library come with Essential; your own song with Premium. - ### Your own footage Prefer your own film? On Essential you can replace the opening with a video or photo of your own, and put your own video or photo behind your names on the cover. An uploaded cover video plays on a loop. - ### Kind to every guest If the opening cannot play or has not started within a few seconds, the invitation opens without it, so nobody waits at a closed envelope. On Data Saver the clip is not downloaded in advance, and in the motion designs a phone set to reduce motion shows still artwork instead. ## The 9 motion designs Each one opens with its own animation and carries its look through every section. Tap “Open it live” to receive one exactly as a guest would, on your own phone, before you decide anything. - [![Velvet Vows](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Fvelvet-vows.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-velvet-vows)[### Velvet Vows Green velvet · candlelit elegance](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-velvet-vows) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-velvet-vows#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=velvet-vows) - [![Lakeside Reverie](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Flakeside-reverie.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-lakeside-reverie)[### Lakeside Reverie Lakeside romance · embroidered linen](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-lakeside-reverie) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-lakeside-reverie#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=lakeside-reverie) - [![Paper Palace](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Fpaper-palace.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-paper-palace)[### Paper Palace Sculpted paper · a palace celebration](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-paper-palace) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-paper-palace#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=paper-palace) - [![Fleur Atelier](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Ffleur-atelier.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-fleur-atelier)[### Fleur Atelier Floral embroidery · antique gold](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-fleur-atelier) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-fleur-atelier#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=fleur-atelier) - [![Pearl Garden](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Fpearl-garden.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-pearl-garden)[### Pearl Garden Pearl curtains · an intimate garden](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-pearl-garden) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-pearl-garden#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=pearl-garden) - [![Coastal Bloom](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Fcoastal-bloom.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-coastal-bloom)[### Coastal Bloom Coastal light · flowers by the sea](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-coastal-bloom) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-coastal-bloom#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=coastal-bloom) - [![Varenna](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Fvarenna.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)Scenic](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-varenna)[### Varenna Lake light · an Italian celebration](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-varenna) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-varenna#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=varenna) - [![Azure Riviera](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Fazure-riviera.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)Scenic](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-azure-riviera)[### Azure Riviera Watercolour flowers · Riviera blue](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-azure-riviera) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-azure-riviera#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=azure-riviera) - [![Villa at Dusk](https://pressedlove.com/_next/image?url=%2Ftemplate-thumbnails%2Fvilla-at-dusk.webp&w=2048&q=75&dpl=dpl_F8ypWrHJdQFyxw96EA2J5h9ZYPxx)Scenic](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-villa-at-dusk)[### Villa at Dusk Day to night · a watercolour estate](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-villa-at-dusk) [Open it live](https://pressedlove.com/wedding-invitation-villa-at-dusk#live)[Use this design](https://pressedlove.com/create?t=villa-at-dusk) Prefer a classic design? An animated invitation is a page your guests open. Both move; they behave very differently once they leave your phone. Sending Animated invitation pageOne link, by WhatsApp, text or email. It arrives as a short message with a preview of your design. Video fileA file every guest has to download, which messaging apps often compress on the way. Replies Animated invitation pageGuests answer inside the invitation, and every reply lands in your dashboard (Essential). Video fileReplies come back as separate messages and calls, and someone has to keep the list. Changing a detail Animated invitation pageEdit it in the dashboard; the same link shows the new version. Video fileEdit, export and send the file to everyone again. Practical details Animated invitation pageMap, programme, dress code, travel notes and FAQs sit on the same page, below the animation. Video fileOnly what fits on screen before the video ends. Each guest Animated invitation pageOn Essential, a personal link for every guest, and the invitation in any of 29 languages. Video fileEveryone receives the same file, in one language. Offline Animated invitation pageNeeds a connection to open, like any web page. Video fileOnce downloaded, it plays offline and can be kept like any other video. Sending one link per guest, with a pre-written message for each, is covered step by step in our [WhatsApp invitation guide](https://pressedlove.com/whatsapp-wedding-invitation). ## What moves on each plan Every design comes with its full animation on every plan; the plan decides what you add to it. You can try everything in your draft for free, and choose the plan when you publish. - ### Starter €49once The design, moving exactly as it was drawn. - The design’s own opening: its envelope and seal, curtain, bow or scene - Scenic clips and painted illustrations - Shareable link and QR code - No music and no RSVP form - ### Essential €175once Motion, music and replies, plus a video of your opening to share. - Background music from our song library - Any of the 14 wax seals - Your own opening and cover, as video or photo - RSVP, personal guest links, 29 languages - ### Premium €395once We make it for you, with your own song. - Everything in Essential - Made for you by our team, two rounds of changes - A painting of your venue, made from your photo - Your own song, any colour, no Pressed Love branding Every plan is a one-time payment with lifetime access. Full details on [the pricing page](https://pressedlove.com/pricing). ## Animated invitation _questions_ ### What is an animated wedding invitation? An invitation your guests open on their phone that moves: it starts closed, opens with an animation when they tap (a wax seal breaking, a curtain parting, a scene coming to life) and then shows your names and the details of the day on the same page. On Pressed Love it is a live web page sent as a link, not a video file. ### Will the animation play on every phone? It opens in the phone’s own browser, with no app to install, and the opening is a short video clip that current iPhone and Android browsers play inline. If a phone cannot play it, or the connection is too slow, the invitation opens after a few seconds without the animation, so nobody is left at a closed envelope. In the motion designs, a phone set to reduce motion shows still artwork instead. ### Can we add our own video and music, and on which plan? Yes. Essential (€175) lets you replace the opening with your own video or photo, put your own video or photo on the cover, choose any of the 14 wax seals and add background music from our song library. Premium (€395) adds uploading your own song. Starter (€49) keeps the design’s own animation, without music. You can try all of it in your draft for free and choose the plan when you publish. ### Can we send it on WhatsApp? Yes. It is a link, so it goes anywhere a message can: WhatsApp, text, email, or a QR code on a printed card. In the chat it shows a preview of your design rather than a bare address, and guests do not need any app. Essential adds a personal link and a pre-written WhatsApp message for every guest. ### Does an animated design cost more than a static one? No. Every design costs the same, and its own animation plays on every plan, Starter included, from €49 paid once. What costs more is what you add: music, a seal of your choice and your own footage on Essential (€175), your own song on Premium (€395). There is no subscription and no per-guest fee. ### Can we change the details after sending it? Yes. Edit the invitation in your dashboard after publishing and guests see the new version at the same link. Because the names, date and venue are live text rather than part of a video, a change never means exporting or sending anything again. ### Can guests RSVP inside the animated invitation? Yes, on Essential and Premium. The reply form sits in the invitation itself, below the animation, with plus-ones, meal choices and several events if you need them, and every answer lands in your dashboard. Starter publishes the invitation with a link and QR code but without the reply form. ### Can we switch the animation off, or keep it short? Guests can skip the opening, and the scenic clips play once and stop. If you would rather the invitation open straight onto your names, switch the opening animation off in the studio; you can switch it back on at any time. ## Make it move. _Then send the link._ [Design yours free](https://pressedlove.com/create)[Browse all designs](https://pressedlove.com/templates) Free to design and preview.
